akita., Our backyard faced each other. I being new to the UP loved to hear the stories and beautiful memories Sandy shared. she was a true friend in minutes of meeting. I will love her to the moon and back and think of her often.

One of the best women I have ever known. I began to know her when she taught my children at Vandenboom and following that we became friends outside of school. She will be remembered by me as a shining star with a bright smile
