Sandra Ann Bourque, age 68, of Linden, Michigan went to be with the Lord after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. She was the daughter of the late Bennett "Pete" and Judith Laderoot and sister to the late Pamela Hopkins. She grew up in Warren, Michigan and was a 1975 graduate of Cousino High School.

Sandra married Richard Bourque in November of 1979 and later moved to Linden where they would raise their family. She is the mother to Nicole (Kevin) Goldstein of Rochester Hills, MI and Justin Bourque of Flint, MI. Her favorite roles were to be a mother and later a grandmother to Lexxus, Auriana and Gage Bourque and Kendall and Colin Goldstein. She invested in their lives deeply and prayed for each of them by name daily. After raising her own kids, she went on to be a nanny for two special families.

She enjoyed being an active member of Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, where she developed many meaningful friendships through the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.

She leaves behind many additional family members and friends who will miss her dearly. A special thanks to the caregivers who partnered with her to grant her wish to stay in her home the past 4 years.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 Bristol Rd, Flint, MI 48507. Pastor Joel Close will preside. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
