Keith Brown Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kaatz Funeral Directors - Richmond on Jan. 9, 2026.
Keith Steven Brown, 28, of Richmond Township, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2025.
He was born in Warren on May 27, 1997, the son of Steven Brown and Kimberly Carter.
Keith graduated from Cousino High School in 2015 and spent the past year working at Pioneer Quick Lube in Richmond. He was known for his talented mechanical skills with vehicles and his willingness to lend a hand to his friends and family. Keith's quick wit and sharp sense of humor brought smiles to those around him, and he was cherished for his playful banter. The room lit up when Keith walked in.
Outside of work, Keith enjoyed off-roading adventures in his truck, relishing the thrill of the outdoors. His family was at the center of his world, and he deeply loved spending time with them. Keith also had a special bond with his dogs-Sasha, Vella, Nikko and Phoenix-who were always by his side.
Known for his big heart, Keith formed many lasting friendships. He had a natural ability to connect with children, especially his girlfriend's two boys, who adored him. Keith's passions extended to fast cars, dirt bikes, and go-carts, reflecting his love for excitement and adventure.
Surviving are his father and step-mother, Steven and Alisha Brown of Richmond Township and mother, Kimberly (Jessie) Carter of Warren; five siblings, Austin Kallom of Port Huron, Mackenzie (fiancé, Matthew Osborne) Brown of Macomb, Kayleigh (Eddie) Newer of Richmond Township, Brianna Jacob of Port Huron, and Triston Thiele of Richmond Township; a grandmother, Deborah Carter of Warren; his girlfriend, Halie Creed; soon to arrive niece Nova Avery Jo Osborne, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his aunt, Pam Chippley, and a great-uncle, Jerry "Nelson" Carter.
The family honors the memory of Keith and invites you to visit and share memories Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a sharing of memories at 6:00 pm at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond.
