Darrin Oksentowicz Obituary
He was born September 25, 1969, in Detroit, the son of the late Thomas and Diana (Brenckle) Oksentowicz.
His marriage to Tracy Hughes was April 18, 2015; they spent a total of 34 loving years together before Tracy's passing on October 19, 2024.
Darrin worked as a residential plumber. In 2013, he went to work for Chrysler Automotive, where he worked as a pipe fitter. He enjoyed golf and spending time with his dogs. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was wonderful at crafting and woodworking.
Surviving are his two children, Justin (Elizabeth Staley) Hughes and Jeremy (Kaitlyn) Oksentowicz; "adopted" daughter, Anjolie Hughes; one granddaughter, Adeline Hughes, and a sister, Nadine Oksentowicz.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Oksentowicz.
The family honors the memory of Darrin and invites you to visit and share memories Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Deacon Mike Cummins will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery, Richmond.
Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".
