Sandra 'Sandy' Boykin, 65, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025. She was born in Akron, Ohio, to the late Artley and Eliese Boykin. Sandy graduated from Central High School and later pursued her education in the medical field, going on to work for Summa Hospital for 26 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, watching her "shows" and hitting the slots up. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Artley and Eliese Boykin; stepfather Willie Harris; grandparents John and Nasree McAlpine; brothers David and Gary Boykin; and sisters Michelle and Denise. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Alexander "Aj" (Britany); brothers Michael (Sandy), Kevin (Debbie), John, Alex, and Mark; sisters Marlene (Leroy) and Lisa; her loving grandchildren; brother-in-law Robert Taylor of Virginia Beach, VA; her childhood best friends Brenda "bb", Cathy, Anette, Renee, and Ella, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Sandy was a great person who wore her heart on her sleeve and didn't take mess from anybody. She will truly be missed and forever loved.
