Sandra A. Braun

A faithful servant of the Lord, Sandra Braun, has been called Home on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, at the age of 90. Her kind and generous spirit touched countless lives, as she freely offered wisdom and a motherly embrace to many beyond her own family. Her years of service teaching Sunday School were a testament to her steadfast devotion. While she will be remembered for her legendary raisin bread, which was an expression of her love, many will also recall her lively spirit as an avid New York Yankees fan who could recount every player's stats. She held her family close, especially her brother, who was her steadfast rock.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Friday, October 24th, 2025, from 04:00 p.m. – 07:00 p.m. Pastor Bob Beeman will briefly speak about Sandra's life at 06:00 p.m. Visitation will continue after Pastor Bob speaks until 07:00 p.m.
She was preceded in death by husband, Mercer J. Braun; daughter, Lisa Kirby-Pender; parents, Anthony and Elizabeth MacClure.
She is survived by children, Steve (Tara) Braun, Rev. Larry (Sharon) Kirby, Robin (Patricia) Braun, and Barton (Robin) Braun; brother, Wayne MacClure; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family members also survive.
