Sandra Brush, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, died peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. She was one month from her 83rd birthday.

Born Sandra Kay Earle in Fort Collins, Colorado to Howard and Bessie Earle, she was the oldest of three children. In 1954, the Earle family moved to Northern California where Sandra graduated from Calistoga High School and attended Santa Rosa Junior College. She married David Brush in 1966. They had three children, and they divorced not long after.

Sandra was a strong single mom who, by her example, taught her children the importance of hard work and service, and inspired them with her kindness. Eventually, the family settled in Utah, where Sandra worked for the Salt Lake City Fire Department and Intermountain Healthcare, including the LDS Hospital Emergency Room. She had a passion for patient care and was recognized many times for her skill and compassion.

Sandra radiated an infectious zest for life. She cherished her family and found joy in many things, including music and baseball. The Pacific Northwest coast held a special place in her heart and will be her final resting place.

Sandra is survived by her son, Darin ( Natalie); daughters, Jennifer (Adil) and Tracy; brother, Thomas (Yvonne); eight adoring grandchildren, Gabriela, Sean, Ian, Kasandra, Zachary, Dylan, Kayla, and Liliana; one great-grandson, Alexander and seven nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John (Denise Ellis). She had countless friends and helped save many lives.
