Sandra "Sandy" Burns

Sandra (Sandy) Morelock Burns, 71 of Church Hill passed away peacefully on Friday August 15 at Holston Valley Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was always the life of the party and enjoyed singing karaoke and gospel music. She was disabled the last few years of her life.

She is survived by her son Bryan Burns (Becky) of San Diego CA, her daughter in law Octa Burns, her Grandchildren Caitlin Williams (Landon) and Wyatt Burns, her great granddaughters Olivia, Addison and Lanie Williams. Her sisters Barbara Smith, Kathy Bernard and Jane Morelock and her brother Charles Keith Morelock (Cindy). Several nieces and nephews. Many special friends.

She was proceeded in death by her sons Richard and Weston Burns. Her parents Charles F. and Ruth Morelock and her neice Monica Wills.

The family received friends Wednesday August 20 from 4:00-7:00 at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service (downtown). The family would like to thank the nurses at Holston Valley Hospital 5th Floor.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jeffers Funeral Home.
