Sandra Byard Obituary
Sandra loved to crochet, cook for the family and especially spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a big heart and loved to make people laugh. Sandra would go out of her way to assist others.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Ira Byard; son, Michael Lankford; daughter, Barbara Lankford; grandchildren, Verna, Dustin, Heather and Britteny; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Terry (Dave) Worley and Betty Kemp; brothers, David, Steve and Wally Kemp; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Kemp and Ronald Gene Kemp; sisters, Toni Kemp and Donna Collins; and nieces, Keri Kemp, Jazmin Jones and Keli Walden.
A private service will be held at a later date. Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel is handling her arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vanderburgh Humane Society, PO Box 6711, Evansville, IN 47719-6711.

Sandy byard taught me how to crochet. Even though I had been told for years I couldn't because of being left handed. She took the time and told me to do it the opposite of what she was doing. I ended up crocheting blankets. She was a kind person

To Ira and family. I am honored to have met you both. Sandy was a delightful person, a hard worker and a person who didn't mind helping in whatever way she could. So sorry she is not among us anymore she will be greatly missed. May the Lord give you all peace during this time.
