Sandra was born on November 12, 1956, in
Hannibal, MO, to William Glennon Little and JoAnn Woodford Little. She was united in marriage to Joseph Abbey Jr. "Joe" who preceded her in death.
Sandra is survived by her loving daughters, Heidi Anette Robinson (Ernest) of
Hannibal, MO, and Monica Suzette Cunningham (Jason) of Los Angeles, CA; her brother, Jim Little (Meshell) of St. Charles, MO; sisters, Joyce Meskimens of Monroe City, MO, Glendia Winner of Mexico, MO, and Janet Thompson of Monroe City, MO; five cherished grandchildren, Courtny Mayfield, Kamron Robinson, Eunice Robinson, Aleah Washington, and Raymon Chacon; five beloved great-grandchildren, Treyon, Ameliah, Cayson, Brielle, and Rowan; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Abbey; and her son, Enrique Little Chacon, "Lil Ricky."
Sandra was a devoted homemaker and later worked at Amoco and Hardees. She also served as a waitress and cook in several Hunnewell & Monroe City area restaurants, including working at her mother's café.
She was a gifted seamstress who found joy in sewing for her children and community. She later taught her daughters how to sew. Sandra was also known for her incredible baking skills. Her famous "1-2-3" peanut butter cookies and bear-shaped birthday cakes became treasured traditions for her grandchildren. She made sure each child felt special with a custom bear cake every year. Whether she was baking, sewing, or cooking her beloved mini pizzas, pig in the blankets, and homemade biscuits and gravy Sandra poured her heart into everything she did.
Sandra was known for keeping her door open to everyone - her home was a safe, welcoming place filled with love, laughter, and bbq's. She deeply loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She especially loved Mexican food.
Sandra had a lively sense of humor - she was a true jokester who loved to make people laugh. She was known for having the best riddles and could always catch someone off guard with a clever punchline. Her wit and playful spirit brought joy to every room she entered.
She also found joy in simple pleasures: sipping coffee, playing radio bingo, scratching lottery tickets, watching the Kardashians, and listening to Freddy Finder, Isley Brothers, Joe, & Snoop Dogg - her favorite celebrity.
But above all, Sandra treasured time with her family. Her love, strength, and generous spirit will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sandra was Christian by faith.
