Sandra L. Cindrich

Sandra "Sandy" L. Cindrich, 81, of Ellsworth, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born December 8, 1942, in Ellsworth, a daughter of the late William and Margaret Sara Lee. Sandy was retired from the former Santoni's Restaurant in Charleroi. She was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church in Charleroi, and a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #354 in Cokeburg. Sandy enjoyed cooking, knitting, taking walks, and reading. Most of all, she loved spending her time with her eight grandchildren. On May 4, 1963, in Cleveland, she married the love of her life, Timothy Cindrich, having celebrated 61 years of marriage this year. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Christine Hamay of Shelby Township, Mich.; Timothy Cindrich of Seven Fields; and Leslie (Bradley) Miller of Canonsburg; eight grandchildren, Paige Hamay, Caitlyn Cindrich, Hannah Hamay, Gabrielle Hamay, Kyle Cindrich, Payton Miller, Gavin Miller, and Carter Miller; and her sister, Linda (Don) Southern of Locust Grove, Va. Sandy was preceded in death by her sister, Priscilla Devine. Services were private and interment was held at Scenery Hill Cemetery. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Dementia Society of America. Arrangements were entrusted to the Leonard M.
