Sandra Ellen Tillery Cobos

Sandra Ellen Tillery Cobos, age 78 of Ringgold, Georgia passed away at home on Thursday, January 15, 2026. A member of Chattanooga Jewish Federation, Sandra was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and resided in Ringgold, Georgia for over fifty years. She was an avid reader, whether novel of history book, she loved studying the history of the Southern United States. Sandra was a versatile and well-educated woman. She enjoyed listening to country music, of which Mickey Gilley was her favorite, but also enjoyed attending concerts of classical music and operas. Sandra lived an active life that revolved around her family. With her husband, she had traveled across the Unites States of America as well as to many countries overseas. With their three daughters, they attended swimming lessons and competitions, soccer practices and games and American Saddlebred horse shows across the south. In her free time, Sandra enjoyed decorating the house.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas F. Tillery and Hellen Wright Tillery.

She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Jacinto "Jack" Cobos; their children, Karen (Tim) Edgeman, Mary Elizabeth (John) Gilfillan, and Suzanne Cobos; grandchildren, Dalton, Jack, Sarah, John David, and Emma Rose; great grandchildren, Isabella and Raven.
