Sandra (Coleman) Atha Obituary
Sandra Kathleen Coleman Atha, 72, of Oak Hill passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Born August 12, 1953 in Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Henry "Cracker" Coleman and Thelma Pearl Williams Coleman Britt and stepfather, Dennie Britt.
Sandra was a graduate from Collins High School and worked as a bartender and in her leisure was full of life as she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren.
Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her siblings and there spouses Howard Coleman (Ann), Carlos Coleman, Helen Blosser, Peggy Brinson (T.D. Brinson), Drema Coen (Coy), Mildred J. "Janie" Foster (Roger) and Janice Pigg (Herman).
Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving husband, Chris Atha; sons, Shane Shockey and David E. Harden III (Lyndsey); daughter, Kristen Atha; grandchildren, Autumn Lynn Harden, Blaine Shockey, David E. Harden IV, Talon Shockey, and Wyatt Allison; sister, Shirley Harris (Bob); and sister in law, Drema.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill. Burial for immediate family only will follow at the Coleman-Lively Cemetery in Dothan, WV.
Visitation for friends will be from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the funeral home in Oak Hill.
