Sandra Couch Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 6, 2025.
Sandra Margaret "Sandy" Mann Couch, 84, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.

Born on August 7, 1941, in Laredo, Texas, Sandra was the daughter of Ofelia Olivares-Mann-Arizona and Herbert Mann. She graduated from Martin High School in Laredo and spent her early years immersed in dance, performing in recitals that reflected her vibrant spirit and love for the arts.

In 1962, Sandra married Harold Ray Couch Sr., beginning a lifelong partnership rooted in devotion and shared passions. Together they built a home in Dallas, Texas, where Sandra dedicated herself to raising their four children and caring for numerous beloved pets over the years. A homemaker by heart and vocation, she created a warm and welcoming environment filled with love and laughter.

Sandra was deeply spiritual and religious. She attended services regularly until her health began to decline, finding strength and solace in her faith throughout her life. Her days were often filled with crossword puzzles and lively games of bingo shared with friends-simple joys that brought her great happiness.

She was a steadfast supporter of her husband's racing hobby and cherished holidays spent surrounded by family. Her legacy lives on through her children: Edward Leven of Pensacola, Florida; Carol Couch-Baker of Huntsville, Texas; Sandra McInnish of Bedford, Texas; and Harold Couch Jr. of Dallas, Texas. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and great-grandmother to six.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Ray Couch Sr.; three brothers; and three sisters.

Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her-for the warmth she gave so freely, the traditions she upheld with care, and the quiet strength that defined her life.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Funeral Service will be held on November 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Troy Suggs Funeral Home Military Parkway. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m.
