Douglas Franklin Couch of Arcadia, MO passed away Jan. 16, 2026 in St. Louis, MO at the age of 57 years and 5 days.

He was born Jan. 11, 1969 in Festus, MO a son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Warden Couch.

On June 16, 2018 he was united in marriage to Bridget Mae Sansoucie who survives. Also surviving are two children; Joey Hockenberry and wife Tara of Ironton, MO and Brandi Reed and husband Andrew of Pevely, MO.

Nine grandchildren; Trever, Kohl, Hunter, Riley, Garret, Donte', Chris, Brooklyn, and Sean; one brother Dale Couch of Pacific, MO, three sisters, Darlene Kennon of Park Hills, Diane Valentine of Iron Mountain Lake, and Dorothy Massey of Gateway, MO along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Darrell Couch and his parents Raymond and Dorothy.

Doug was a 1987 graduate of Bismarck High School.

For many years he was employed by Purcell Tire Company in Potosi where he attended to many different job and tasks throughout the Plant. He attended the Delassus Baptist Church.

His love for hunting and fishing was his passion along with spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat. Jan. 24, 2026 at 4 PM from Cole Family Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or to Doug's Family.
