Sandra Kay Crews, a beloved lifelong resident of Hardee County, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024, in Highlands County, Florida. She was born on December 17, 1946, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Sandra was a dedicated member of New Hope Baptist Church and cherished her family above all else. Sandra had a passion for crafting, baking, and creating beautiful floral arrangements. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always putting her family first. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Jude in her honor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Crews; brothers Gary McKenzie, and Daniel McKenzie; sisters Mary Beth McKenzie, and Sue Klein. Sandra is survived by her sons, Thomas Crews Jr. of Port Charlotte, Brian Crews (Amy) of Zolfo Springs, Randall Crews (Stacy) of Wauchula; daughters Debra Floyd (Greg) of Zolfo Springs, Michelle Sconyers (Rex) of Zolfo Springs; sisters Cindy Roberts (Doyle) of Alabama, Donna Baker (Randy) of Melbourne; She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Sandra's life will be held at Florida First Assembly on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10 AM, followed by Funeral Services at 11 AM. The burial will take place at New Hope Cemetery, with Pastor Pete Benson officiating. Sandra will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
