Sandra Kay Daugherty

Sandra Kay Daugherty, age 71, of Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on December 14, 2025.
She was born on October 5, 1954, in Three Rivers, Michigan, the daughter of Donald Dean and Virginia Ann (Shrock) Bent. Sandra was a lifelong resident of the Three Rivers area and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1972.
On January 20, 1995, Sandra was united in marriage to Danny Daugherty in Centreville, Michigan. Together they shared many years filled with love, family, and devotion.
Sandra dedicated much of her working life to caring for others. She was employed at Three Rivers Hospital from 1975 to 1995, serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant and in housekeeping. In later years, she worked as a manager at Wendy's, where she was known for her strong work ethic and leadership, before retiring in 2013.
Sandra had many interests she enjoyed in her free time. She was an avid University of Michigan football fan and never missed a chance to cheer on her team. She loved watching soap operas, especially The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, followed Court TV closely, and enjoyed listening to the music of Toby Keith. Above all else, family was the center of Sandra's life, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Daugherty; her children, Nancy (Dave) Moore of LaGrange, Indiana, and Tim (Alicia) Miller of Tell City, Indiana; her grandchildren, Brenden (Liz) Oldenberg of Sturgis, Michigan, Brooke Oldenberg of Sturgis, Michigan, Michael Miller of California, Justin (Stephanie) Miller of Three Rivers, Michigan, Brandi Jones of Rockport, Indiana, and Kyle (Summer) Miller of Tell City, Indiana; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-step-grandchildren; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Virginia Bent.
In accordance with Sandra's wishes, a private family funeral service will be held, with burial to follow in Bly Cemetery in Marcellus. Reverend Jerry Solis will officiate.
