Dominico, Sandra " Sandy" (Lyle) of Whitman, passed away on February 23, 2026. She was 81 years old.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Joanna L. (Fitzgerald) Lyle.
Sandy was known for her sense of humor, sharp wit, and perceptive nature that drew people to her.
She and her late husband Charlie took great pride and pleasure in their beautiful backyard garden. Their yard was a sanctuary for hummingbirds, which were drawn to their many feeders. Sandy had great affection for all animals, especially her cherished and devoted dog Princess, her loyal companion for many years.
She was an excellent cook. Her house and backyard parties were lively and welcoming with good food and plenty of laughter. Friends and family often gathered around her table to enjoy her meals and good company. Sandy had great enthusiasm and an artistic touch. She was quite a creative flower arranger and home decorator. She was funny and spirited. She and Charles lived a full and joyful life between her home in Whitman and Florida.
Although she is no longer with us, her laughter and memory, will stay in our hearts.
Loving wife of 34 years to the late Charles A. Dominico. Cherished sister to Rita Lyle. Stepmother to the late Jeanne Dominico, the late Dianne Foster, her husband Dean and Charles Dominico and his wife Lucianna. Grandmother to Anthony Dominico.
