Sandra Duchatschek Obituary

Sandra L. Duchatschek, 71, Oshkosh, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born April 16, 1946, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Harold and Geneva (Spiegelberg) Brewer. On July 1, 1967, Sandy married Daniel Duchatschek, and together they shared 50 years of marriage. Sandy was employed by Schoenberger's Pastry for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage with her father-in-law, and watching the Packers, but most important to Sandy was the time spent with her family. She was a member of Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oshkosh, where she assisted in teaching Sunday School.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Dan; sons: Daryl (Darcy), Brian (Wanda), and Bruce (Brenda); grandchildren: Bruce (Jamie) Weber, Jennifer Duchatschek, Amanda Duchatschek and 15 other grandchildren; a great granddaughter, Felicity Henkel; two sisters-in-law: Judy Brewer and JoAnn Brewer; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Scott, and brothers, Larry and William.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Martin Luther Church, 1526 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, with Rev. Jeffrey Berg officiating. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Azura Memory Care for the last five years of care, and the staff at Mercy Medical Center for their care until the time of Sandy's passing.

To Danny and family, so sorry to hear of Sandys passing. Knew her whole family because their maternal grandparents lived across the street from me on Bent Ave. God bless. Jerry Eichman

I am so sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. We met as students of OTI in the 60s and our friendship continued after till I moved out of the area. I remember when the twins were born ...
I know she is in God's loving care now.
