Sandra C. Dunleavy (Wofford), of Pembroke, died peacefully with her husband and daughter by her side on June 27, 2025, at the age of 80. She was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Mariette (Couture) Wofford. Sandra was the devoted wife of William B. Dunleavy, with whom she shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. She was the dear mother of Michele Cooper and her husband Richard of Pembroke, and William Jr. of California. She was the proud grandmother of Richard Cooper Jr. , Rose Cole and her husband Ryan, and Lily Cooper, and the loving great-grandmother of Sianna Cole. When her children were younger, Sandra was deeply involved in her community. She was an active member of the PTA at Hobomock Elementary School and a dedicated volunteer at the Pilgrim Skating Club. She was very proud of her home and also an avid gardener who found great joy in tending to her vegetables, plants and flowers. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Apostles Parish (Our Lady of the Lake Church) 575 Monponsett Street, Route 58, Halifax, MA 02338 on Wednesday, July 30th at 11AM. The family wishes to thank Sunset Hospice for their wonderful care of Sandra during the final months of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandra's memory to a the Alzheimer's Association, 320 Nevada St #201, Newton, MA 02460.
