Sandra was born in Zeeland, MI, graduated from Holland Christian High School, and was a long term member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church where she loved playing the organ for many years and most recently played at their final service in February.
One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family making countless delicious meals, involving everyone in music and sporting events. She was passionate about her hobbies which included music, tennis, golf and pickleball. She had a network of very close friends who supported her to the end.
Sandra will be dearly missed by her children: Michael and Nancy Edewaard, Nancy Etterbeek, Bob and Lorraine Edewaard and Terry and Julie Edewaard, grandchildren: Kyle (Erica) Edewaard, Eric (Audrey) Edewaard, Lindsey (Joel) VanVeen, Kristen (Spencer) Swaney, Schuyler Edewaard, Mason Edewaard, Scott Edewaard, Valerie Edewaard, and great grandchildren: Marin VanVeen and Samuel Edewaard, siblings: Jim (Nancy) Otte, in-laws: Vern (Carol) Edewaard, Jim Hulst, and Marcia Otte, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor Sandra's life will be held at Bethany CRC on Monday, August 7 at 3:00 pm with a time for visitation at the church from 3:45 - 5:00. There will be a private family burial service. Memorial contributions may be made to Holland Christian Schools or Evergreen Commons.
