Sandra Fagan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beyers Funeral Home & Crematory - Lady Lake on Dec. 18, 2025.
Sandra Ellen "Sandy" Fagan (née Driggers), age 70, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, in Weirsdale, Florida. Born on February 5, 1955, in Charleston, South Carolina, Sandy lived a life marked by devotion to her family, dedication to her work, and a deep love for the natural world.

A proud graduate of Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Class of 1973, Sandy went on to build a fulfilling career with the Marion County School Board. Over the course of 30 years, she served as an Information Technologist, contributing her skills and commitment to the educational community before retiring.

Sandy was a devoted wife to Gregory Fagan for 52 years. Together they built not only a life but also a business that reflected their shared values and hard work. She was a loving mother to their son Craig Fagan and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, Chase and Chelsea Fagan. Her family was the heart of her world.

She is also lovingly survived by her sister Debbie Chandler and Debbie's husband Robin, as well as her brother Donnie Driggers, Aunt Vera Driggers and Cousin Marci Strickland. Her extended family and friends will remember her warmth, creativity, and unwavering spirit.

Outside of her professional life, Sandy found joy in beekeeping-a passion that reflected both her nurturing nature and fascination with the outdoors. Whether fishing by the water's edge or camping under the stars, she embraced every opportunity to connect with nature. She also enjoyed crafting jewelry, expressing herself through intricate designs that mirrored her vibrant personality.

A woman of faith, Sandy was a member of the Church of Christ and carried those values into every aspect of her life-kindness, generosity, and steadfast love for those around her.

Sandra Ellen "Sandy" Fagan leaves behind a legacy rooted in love for family, dedication to service, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Beyers Funeral Home (134 N. Highway 27/441 Lady Lake, FL) with visitation starting at 10:00 AM and the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave. Bushnell, FL) at 1:00pm.
