Sandra Lee Foreman passed away on November 14, 2025, at her home in Northwest Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Thomas Eugene Turk and Margaret Elizabeth Johnson. She was born on July 31, 1944, in Huntington Park, California. She has a sister, Claudia Gene Rodgers, who is living in California. She married Larry Don Foreman on August 29, 1962, in Midway City, California. She is survived by Larry and their three children Melissa Louise Neely of Washington, Utah; Andrew John Foreman of Madisonville, Tennessee; and Amy Suzanne Lane of Oklahoma City and a foster daughter, Belinda Lowe Smith. She has eleven grandchildren: Kyrstie Elizabeth Gillie, Tatyanna Marie Dill, Shayne Brenna Bingham, Sawyer Joe Neely, McKayde Andrew Neely, Chelsey Marie Pegram, Brittney Camille Foreman, Caleb Marsellus Foreman, Elijah Taylor Lane, Katerina Ross Lane, and Wyatt Nathan Lane. She has twelve great-grandchildren: Samuel, Ezra, and Noah Gillie; Remington, Hollis, Colt, Daisy, and Wesson Dill; and Susannah, Annie, R.J., and Jo Jo Pegram. Sandy is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served over the years in many teaching and leadership positions in the Church. She served for 18 months on a mission for her Church with her husband in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2015 to 2017. After numerous jobs over the years, she and her husband retired to Guthrie, Oklahoma, where they ran a bed and breakfast inn before moving to Oklahoma City. She traveled extensively to Europe (especially Britain), Bali, and Japan. She operated a Japanese and American student exchange program for eighth graders for six years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Yukon, OK, with interment following at Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
