Sandra K. Games, fondly known as Sandy, passed away on September 10, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on February 16, 1968, Sandy was a vibrant spirit whose warmth and contagious laughter brought light to all who knew her. She graduated from Center Grove High School in 1986 and went on to own and operate her own residential cleaning business for over thirty years. Her dedication to her career reflected her passion and commitment to providing for her cherished family.
Sandy's personality shined brightly; she had a wild spirit that was truly infectious. She connected with everyone she met, never failing to treat a stranger as a friend. Throughout her life, she attended Emmanuel Church, which added depth to her unwavering sense of community.
Sandy's proudest accomplishments were her roles as a devoted mama and nana and she loved her family dearly.
In her leisure, Sandy found joy in various activities such as playing casino slots, singing karaoke, lounging by the pool, shopping at Goodwill and on Ebay, and enjoying family gatherings during holidays. She also had a fondness for following the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, showcasing her diverse interests.
She is survived by her husband, John Games; her daughters, Ashley (Tony) Roberts and Alicia (Jake) Wallen; and her grandchildren, Scarlett, Nash, Navy, Adaline, and Jax. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her siblings, Becky Bridges, Roger (Peggy) McMurtrey, LaDonna Kirkwood, Curtis (Sheila) McMurtrey, Sherrie (Kevin) Stinson, Jamie (Diana) Golliver, Gina (Bryan) Ridenour, Jennifer (Dell) Jackson, and Jaclyn (Kevin) Jones; several nieces and nephews; and her step-mother, Laura McMurtrey.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Doyce McMurtrey and Yvonna Gray; step-mother, Janie McMurtrey, and her brother, Jerry Bridges.
Visitation will be held on September 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Sandy will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens 1977 S State Rd 135 Greenwood, IN 46143.

Sandy leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and friendship, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will forever be cherished by the many lives she touched.
