OBITUARY; SANDRA M. (DELANEY) GENDRON Sandra M. (Delaney) Gendron passed away Friday March 13, 2009 at Southern NH Medical Center after battling an illness for several years. She passed away in the arms of her beloved husband of 22 years, and was surrounded by her sisters. Sandra was born in Athol, MA on February 20, 1962 a daughter of the late Richard & Marjorie (Cullen) Delaney. She was the wife of Larry Gendron of Nashua. Sandy spent her childhood in Athol, MA and attended elementary and high school there. She was married to Larry Gendron on April 26, 1986, and they made their home in Nashua. Before she fell ill, she was an astute businesswoman who worked for several local companies including Nashua Corporation and Delta Education. Through the years she continually demonstrated her abilities, while progressing through the corporate ranks in the areas of business and production planning. Her interests included motorcycle riding with her husband, gardening, reading, playing with her nieces and nephews, and most of all taking trips to the beach and other destinations with Larry. She was also an avid caretaker of animals. Sandy always had several pets and would not hesitate to reach out to any animal in need of her help. Having been called from this world early, besides her husband, Sandy is survived and will be greatly missed by: Two sisters; Pamela S. Litchfield of Orange, MA and Sally A. Delaney of Erving, MA One brother; Larry A. Delaney of Athol, MA Father-in-law & Mother-in-law; Ronald Gendron and Beverly Gendron of Nashua Two sisters-in-law; Mary Hoyt and her husband Scott of Strafford and Susan Stone and her husband Stefan of Amherst Two brothers-in-law; Greg Gendron and his wife Susan of Amherst and Tom Gendron and his wife Linda of Goffstown A dear friend; Margaret Leary Also several nieces and nephews SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Thursday March 19, 2009 in the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions in Sand's name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donor Services, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
