I was so very sad to hear of Sandy's sudden passing. I followed her journey with Everest and kept my grandsons (close to Everest's age)updated with each new development as he progressed and won his battle!
Sandy held strong throughout her own personal heartbreak, being there for all who needed her. I only met her once, at the benefit for Everest in Marquette. My sister, Nancy Olsen, spoke of her often as a woman with a heart of gold.
Rest in peace Sandy, and fly high and strong
