Sandra Griffin

At the age of 86, Sandra Griffin was received by God and reunited with loved ones in heaven on January 11, 2026. Sandra was born on April 28, 1939, in Wapanucka, Oklahoma, to E.D. and Louise (Angel) Faulk. She graduated from Wapanucka High School in 1957 and went on to complete nursing school at St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Oklahoma City. On May 20, 1961, she married the love of her life, L.M. Griffin. After the birth of her first of three children, Sandra devoted many years to caring for others through an in-home daycare. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother whose love will be felt by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband L.M. Griffin, her parents E.D. and Louise Faulk; brothers Whitfield Faulk, and Benford Faulk. She is survived by her sisters Diane Fincher and Renee Lyons; her children; sons, Dirk Griffin and wife Teresa, and Gregg Griffin; daughter, Dana George and husband Cord. Grandchildren, Landon Griffin and partner Spencer Coy; Tori Griffin; Briggs George and wife Lori; Corbin George and wife Kristina; Brooke Griffin, and Parker Griffin; and great-grandsons Stetson George and Ridge George.

Visitation will be held Wednesday January 14th from 11 a.m.-8 p.m., with family in attendance from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Thursday, January 15th a lunch will be held prior to the service at 12:30 followed by a graveside service at 2pm at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
