Sandra Joan Haney

Sandra Joan Haney, 77, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, February 18. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25 at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and run until service time. Dr. Philip Meade will officiate, and burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Sandra was born August 7, 1948 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to James Parks and Fairlena Smith. Sandra adored babies, so she worked in childcare and served as a foster parent. Sandra loved the outdoors, enjoyed feeding her wildlife, and crocheting. She mostly loved spending time with her family and dogs. Sandra was a member of Alton Christan Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents Fairlena Smith Parsons and Kermit Parsons. Survivors include her husband, Doug Haney; two daughters: Lena Riley, Covington, and Heather (Tim) Clifton, Frankfort; five sons: Eldern Riley, Jeremy Wilson, Dwayne Wilson, Ryan Wilson, and Joseph Outlaw, all of Frankfort; four stepchildren: Misty (James) Hall, Ashley (Valmore) Goebel, Dustin (Ashley) Haney, and Amber Harvey, all of Frankfort; eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and sixteen step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mark Wilson, Toby Fey, Jason Fey, Ronnie Barrett, Tim Clifton, and Dustin Haney.
