Sandra Anita Hutchinson, age 67, passed away December 9, 2023. Sandra was born July 27, 1956 in Elizabethton, TN to the late David Lester Stewart and Maria Wolfe Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Randy Hutchinson; sisters-in-law, Carol Hutchinson, Kathy Stewart and niece, Jessica Blevins.
Sandra loved to hike, walk, and ride bicycles. She enjoyed traveling the United States and taking trips abroad. She also adored her cats. Sandra worked for many years for the State of Tennessee in the human services department. She was a member of Community Church and also enjoyed attending First Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 43 years, Larry Hutchinson; brothers, Randy Stewart and wife Paula, Walter Stewart and wife Robin; nephews, David Stewart and wife Hillary, Andy Stewart and wife Sarah; mother-in-law, Jane Hutchinson; aunt, Irawanna Stewart; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce Blevins and husband Richard; special friends, George and Sharon Triplett; several cousins, great nieces and great nephews and her Diva sisters that she worked with.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Mountain City Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Tom Reece and Dean Visser officiating.
