Sandra M. Johnson was born on May 26, 1945, in Oak Grove, LA to Charlie and Marie Lowery Morse. A graduate of Bossier City High School, this is also where Sandra raised her children. She began her career with Trailways Bus Lines as a ticket agent in Shreveport, Louisiana. With her hard work and dedication, she climbed the ranks and eventually retired as a terminal manager for Greyhound Bus Lines in Marshall, Texas. Her commitment to her work and her ability to connect with people were evident throughout her lengthy career in the transportation industry.

An avid lover of flowers and all things related to farm life, Sandra spent many happy hours working in her yard. She particularly loved the many rosebushes her family thoughtfully gifted her on special occasions. The delicate beauty of these roses brought her immense pleasure and became a cherished aspect of her home. Additionally, Sandra had a passion for bird watching, where she enjoyed studying different species and attracting them to her yard, fostering an environment of peace that reflected her love for nature.

Sandra will be lovingly remembered as a fabulous cook, with her family often reminiscing about her renowned "Rubber Pie." This delicious dessert became a cherished tradition that brought everyone together and left lasting memories for years to come. Her memory will live on not just through her accomplishments, but through the warmth she brought to her family and friends.

Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Marie Morse and a sister, Sharon Johnson.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband of 29 years, Bill H. Johnson of Prentiss; daughters, Susan Hicks (Mike) of Hallsville, TX, Ellen Perdue of Bossier City, LA, Mary Martha Churylo (Scott), Jennifer Morgan (Ken) both of Hickory; sons, Loyd Patton (Angela Hamlet) of Keithville, LA, Dan Maples (Denise) of Mooringsport, LA, Bill Johnson, Jr. of Jackson and her sister, Jewel Marie Lowrey of West Monroe, LA. "Mom" to most of her grandchildren and "Grandmother" to Aaron, she leaves a legacy of love that will live on through her grandchildren, Samantha Raines (Josh), Stephanie Hicks, Jessica Perdue, Brittany Perdue, Brooke Morgan, Kenlynn Morgan, Aaron Patton, Hunter Rowsey (Ben), Emily Maples, Skylar Fuller, Mac Henry Morgan, Kaley Maples, Joey Churylo, Caroline Morgan, Jake Maples and her great-grandchildren, PFC Destin Cook, Kelsey Cook, Aiden Haltom, Alayna Manning, Cameron Andrews, Kristie Andrews and Kiana Fuller.
