Agatha "Kemm" Johnson

Agatha "Kemm" Johnson was born to David O'Ruff Johnson and Minnie Mills Jones on October 22, 1937, in Norfolk, Virginia, and transitioned into God's kingdom on January 22, 2026.

Agatha graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, Virginia. She married Solomon Johnson, and unto this union were born three children, Lindsey Michael, Pamela Renee, and Valorie Fhyleese.

A longtime Norfolk Naval Base employee, she retired as a Navy Exchange detective and loved to spend her time bowling, playing bingo, and being with her beloved family- her "generations"-and her menagerie of pets.

Agatha was known for her wisdom, boundless generosity, beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and sassy spirit. Those blessed to have crossed over her threshold found their heart and stomachs full by the time they departed.

She attended First Baptist Lamberts Point in her younger years, before becoming a long-time member of Faith Deliverance Christian Center in Norfolk.

In her later years, she was cared for lovingly by A & C Home Care in Virginia Beach.

Agatha was predeceased by her Parents, Husband, Daughter Pamela Renee, Aunt Beulah Jones Twitty, Sisters Doris, Janice, Sharon, Brothers David, Pernell, Reginald, Bernard, and Rudolph, and her close Cousin Rudolph Burwell Sr.

Left to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, are her devoted Children, Lindsey Michael Johnson and Valorie Fhyleese Johnson: her grandchildren, Takiesha Danniele (Terrence) Bond, Jamera Tyree, Marquis Johnson, Sagay (Angelo) Galindo, Nicholas James, Robert Solomon Johnson, Rebekkah Johnson, Joshua Johnson; her great-grandchildren, Wynter Bond, Shawn Johnson, Brianna Johnson, Adrian Johnson, Dominic Johnson and Cameron Johnson, De'Noria Beal, Milan Galindo, Madex Galindo, Maryn Galindo, and Mateo Galindo, Noah Johnson, and Kingsley Johnson; her sisters, Barbara Stewart and Dianne Johnson and nieces, nephews, cousins and host of family and loved ones.
