Sandra Lee Kaari (nee Rhenlund) beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, departed this world to enter His heavenly home on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born on December 25, 1944, in Ironwood, MI, Sandy was the daughter of Arvid and Helen Rhenlund (nee Laakso). Sandy lived a wonderful life, raised by loving parents and blessed with a 59-year marriage to Cliff, the love her life. She was a proud mother, loving daughter, and devoted sister. She was also known for her flower gardening, sewing, crafts and spending precious time with her family and friends. She also loved to travel with Cliff and her closest friends to all kinds of destinations inside and outside of the country.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Arvid and Helen Rhenlund (nee Laakso), her brother Ronald Rhenlund, and her brother in-law Paul Wiemeri. She is survived by her husband Clifford Kaari, sons Kevin (Lori) Kaari and Daniel Kaari, sister Catherine Wiemeri, granddaughters Alicia and Jamie Kaari, grandson Nicholas Kaari, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center for their attentiveness and loving kindness throughout her comfort care.
