Sandra Kandra Obituary
Sandra was born in Johnson City, NY on April 6, 1943, to Ernest & Laura Lister. She moved to the Klamath Falls area at a young age and graduated from Henley High School in 1961. She then briefly attended Oregon State University before returning home and marrying Gordon L. Kandra. The couple were married at Mt. Laki Presbyterian Church in Klamath Falls and spent the majority of their lives in Malin.
Sandra spent most of her working years as a homemaker and farmwife. She also really enjoyed working briefly at the Merrill Pharmacy.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 61 years Gordon Lewis Kandra of Klamath Falls; sons and daughters-in-law Loren & Denise Kandra of Merrill, OR, Darin & Sylvia Kandra of Malin, OR, Kreg & Jennifer Kandra of Bend, OR; grandchildren Nicole Kandra, Jacob & Anna Kandra, Kirstie & Garrett Martin, Alexia & Bolt Anglen, Jesse & Sophia Kandra, Olivia Kandra, and Viridina, Karla, Myra, Janet; great grandchildren Jesse Kandra Jr, Layla Kandra, Sophia Martin, Peyton Martin; sister-in-law and her spouse Lou Ann & Dick King of Glendale, AZ; niece Tara Martin of The Dalles, OR; great niece Mylii Martin; cousins Lee Kresy, Janet Smith, Jan Yungstrom, Mary Myers; and many others including lifelong friend Julie Henzel.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Ernest & Laura Lister; nephew Keevyn Wilkins; and grandson Nathan Kandra.
