Sandra K. Kindberg

Sandra K. Kindberg, 86, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday June 28, 2025, in the Star Hospice House, Lakewood, surrounded by her family.
Born in Kane, PA and raised in Mt. Jewett, PA, she was born October 21, 1938, to David and Viola Hartberg Leafstrom.
Sandy was a 1956 graduate of Kane High School and a 1959 graduate of WCA Hospital School of Nursing.
Prior to her retirement she was employed by WCA Hospital as a registered nurse in the surgical department.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church and the former Immanuel Lutheran Church. Her other memberships include Norden Women's Club, Viking Lodge and WCA Alumni Association. She was also a longtime volunteer at Lutheran.
Surviving are four children Timothy (Maria) Kindberg, Karin (Joe) Shelters and Stephen Kindberg all of Jamestown and Mark (Kelly) Kindberg of Lewis Center, OH; grandchildren Collin Kennedy, Jacob Kindberg, Luke Kindberg, Ben Kindberg, Tyler Kindberg, Caylee Ames, Adam Kindberg, Jill Kindberg and Cooper Shelters and four great grandchildren Sadie and Deacon Kennedy, Ara Swann-Kindberg and Arlo Ames.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold "Pinky" Kindberg, whom she married August 6, 1960, and who died May 5, 1973.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received from noon to 2 pm Wednesday. The service will also be available to view at lindfuneralhome.com beginning at 1:45 pm Wednesday.
