Sandra Lamas Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by MeadowLawn Funeral Home, Crematory and Cemetery on May 15, 2024.
Sandra Jeanette Lamas passed peacefully at age 58 in her home on May 11, 2024.
She was born to Sandra and Frank Hinojosa and was the second oldest of 5 siblings. Sandy is survived by her husband, Adrian, and her five children, Joseph, Kaycee, Kristen, Adrian, and Kylee.
Her children remember her as loving, supportive, generous, brave, and having many other admirable qualities that make them who they are today.
Sandy was passionate about her children, grandchildren, and faith. She often indulged in many DIYs and antiquing with her cousins in Roundtop, TX. She was a dedicated individual who always participated in the SACS activities involving her children. You probably remember seeing her at the craft show or every sporting event where she made her delicious kettle corn. One of Sandy's many accomplishments before having children was working her way up the ladder at HEB.
Sandy, often called Mama Lamas, touched many lives, even with just her contagious smile. She was a loyal friend and truly one-of-a-kind.
The family would like to thank Hope Hospice for their efforts and care for Sandy during her battle.
The funeral is scheduled at Community Bible Church on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 11 am, with a reception to follow at the church. Pastor Ed Newton will be officiating the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sandy's life. Condolences and flowers can be sent through www.meadowlawn.net, be sure to have them delivered to the church.

A beautiful soul gone too soon. I will forever remember the good, and crazy fun times we shared over the decades. Rest peacefully Sandy, I hope there's a Blanco Cafe in heaven. Love you to the moon and back!
