Sandra Lauver Obituary

She was born on October 31, 1943, to the late James E. Bryner and Dorothy A. (Brannon) Bryner.
Her husband, John A. Lauver, preceded her in death on October 1, 2023.
She is survived by her sons, Brent Lauver and Matt Lauver and wife, Lisa both of Port Royal; a granddaughter, Kayla Lauver and companion, Mitch Rice and Great Grandson, Ryker all of Mifflintown; a brother, T. Jim Bryner of Port Royal; two sisters in law, Ruth Ann Lauver of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and Barbara Vanalman and husband, Wilbur of Thompsontown; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Bryner and a sister-in-law, Mary "Tink" Scharf.
Mrs. Lauver was a homemaker and a former member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed shopping and loved her cats.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with Pastor Gary Krabill officiating. Interment will follow at New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
A viewing will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Lauver's memory can be made to Rescue Our Furry Friends (R.O.F.F.), P.O. Box 6, Lewistown, PA 17044.
