Sandra B. Lazorchick

Sandra B. Lazorchick, age 90, entered into God's care on January 13, 2024 at the Meadows of Shannondell, where she had resided since December of 2022. Born in 1933, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Vitella (George) Bauman, and the loving wife to her husband John, who passed away in 2003. They had been married for 47 years. She was a 1955 graduate of Royersford High School and graduate of West Chester University in 1959, where she received her bachelor's degree in education. Sandy taught second grade at Limerick Elementary School, and retired after 32 years. She had many fond memories of her years as a teacher, and she continued to see students still living and working in the community that remembered her. Sandy and John were avid travelers around the United States and overseas. Several lifelong friendships were made on these trips. They were also enthusiastic sports fans of the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, 76ers, and the Nittany Lions. Watching, and in their early years playing of golf and tennis were also part of their lives. Sandy was a dedicated member of the First United Church of Christ in Royersford, where she enjoyed volunteering for many events and services. She leaves being several nieces and nephews and special friends who enjoyed spending time with her. She will be lovingly missed by all of them. Services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468. Viewing hours will be from 10:00 am â€" 11:00 am, with a service to follow. Interment will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the First United Church of Christ, 367 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468.
