Sandra Diane (McCabe) Linn, 81, went home to her Lord and Savior on December 17, 2025 in Independence Kansas.
Diane was born September 7, 1944 in Neodesha Kansas to Meredith and Polly McCabe of Elk City Kansas. She has a brother Randy McCabe and was preceded in death by her sister Gail Kimzey.
She attended Elk City High School where she met Bill Linn. They were married in 1963 and lived in rural Elk City on the farm.
They have 3 children, John (Lori), Susan (Cory), and Roger (Sue) and a number of granchildren and great grandchildren.
Diane was homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family, and sewing clothes. She worked on the farm driving tractors and trucks and working cattle to help out wherever was needed. Bill and Diane had large patches of strawberries and sweet corn.
They opened Linns Air Cooled Engines in 1979. Diane was the bookkeeper for the business for many years.
In their early years of marriage they were members of Elk City Christian Church. During the middle years of marriage they were members of Community Christian Church in Independence. And they were lately members of Buxton Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Buxton Christian Church or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
A service will be held December 22nd 2025 at Buxton Christian Church at 2 pm. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
