Sandra Lint

Sandra Lint was born on July 5 th, 1949, and passed peacefully, comforted by her son and grandson on September 28 th, 2025, in Adel, IA.

Sandra enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and mixing those two things as much as possible. Whether on a cruise, at a resort in Florida, or on a trip to Washington DC to visit the museums and her late husband's memorial at Arlington, she was always planning her next trip with whomever was ready to go with her. When she was not traveling, Sandra loved shopping for anyone and everyone and never met a deal she did not like.

Sandra is survived by her sisters Marcia (Frank) Fees and Janese (Ted) Ketman, brother Kevin (Tammy) Eklov, son Michael (Teresa) Lint, grandson Jonathan (Jessica) Lint, granddaughters Ashlie (Justin) DeLancey and Amie Loose, great-granddaughters Julia Lint, Cora Plotz, Gianna Plotz, Kadance DeLancey, Norah Delancey, and Ellie DeLancey, and great-grandsons Daxton Plotz and Leonardo DeLancey.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lint, brother Robert Eklov, and parents Darlene and Floyd Eklov.

A memorial for Sandra is planned for Sunday, November 16 th, from 2pm-4pm at the VFW Post 9662 located at 1309 NE 66 th Ave in Des Moines.

In honor of Sandra, take the trip, spend the extra minute on the phone, linger in the doorway before you leave, and cherish every moment you get with the ones you love. It matters more than you think, and life is too short and fragile for anything else.
