Sandra Long

Sandra Diane Long, 76, of Trenton, GA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.

Born on January 7, 1949, to the late Rick and Doris Parker, Sandra devoted her life to the people she loved, and her family was truly the center of her world. She enjoyed bowling, pitching horseshoes, playing bingo, and singing. Sandra found joy in simple moments and cherished time spent with her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Karen Dickerson, Annette Long, and Steve Long; sister, Deborah (Bill) Douglas; brothers, Roy (Margie) Parker and Gary Parker; grandchildren, Dewayne Hickey, Ashley Hickey, Benjamin Cuzzort, Heather Cuzzort, T.J. Wynn, Amanda Wynn, Hannah Lacks, and Mathew Long; and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Long; daughter, Doris Hickey; brothers, Danny, Ricky, and Eddie Parker; and sister, Linda Herron.

A funeral service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the Larry Moore Memorial Chapel of Moore Funeral Home in Trenton. She will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens following the service.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00–8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
