Sandra Lowe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brooks & White Funeral Home and Crematory - Roxboro on May 8, 2024.
Sandra Frances Lowe, 74, of Burlington, died on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at her home. Born in Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Floyd Lowe and Mary Belle Fogleman Lowe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant sister and her nephew, Rodney John Lowe. Sandra was a member of Bellemont Methodist Church in Burlington.
Sandra was loved by all who knew her. Her bright smile and sweet disposition drew people in, making all feel loved. Her love of racing, Elvis, shopping, animals and nature were at the center of her conversations. Her family was important to her, and your conversation didn't get too far without her sharing the pride she had in her sons and grandchildren. Time spent reminiscing about the past and in laughter with her friends and family was her joy.
Surviving are her sons: Jay Lowe and wife, Melanie of Burlington and Bryan Long and wife, Anna of Roxboro; two brothers: Wayne Lowe and wife, Dale and Jerry Lowe, all of Burlington; niece, Amanda Lowe; great-niece, Elizabeth Bentley; seven grandchildren: McKinnley Hinshaw (Daniel), Madelyn Butcher (Josh), Micah Lowe, Jedediah Lowe, Avonlea Lowe, Khallie Lowe and Grayson Long; three great-grandchildren: Hudson Hinshaw, Adeline Hinshaw and Kanah Butcher.
Funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday, May 10, 2024 at Bellemont Methodist Church with the Rev. Lee Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (1-2 PM).
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Liberty HomeCare and Hospice especially, Veronica Clark, her CNA for the love and care provided to Sandra and her family.
Memorials may be made to Liberty HomeCare and Hospice Services, 3414 N Duke Street, Suite 201, Durham, NC 27704 or Bellemont Methodist Church, 4039 Markwood Drive Burlington, NC 27215.
