Lynch, nee Canty, age 87, longtime resident of Glen Ellyn, formerly of Chicago; retired food service worker with Shriner's Hospital; former member Belmont Assembly of God and current member Grace Gospel Fellowship; beloved wife of James M. for over 68 years; loving mother of James Jr. (Carol), Theresa (Leo) Back, Phillip (Caryn), Nancy (Kevin) Cronin, Maureen (Bill) Hunt, Gary (Phyllis) Mills and the late Steve and Kathleen; proud grandmother of Michael, James, Sarah, Rachel, Carly, Sarah, Robert, Jessica, Stormy, Melissa, Aaron, Alan, Laura, Ryan, John, Justin, Rebekah, Sandra and Elijah and great-grandmother of 29; dear sister of the late Jacqueline, Robert, Edward, Margaret, June, Carol, Steve and Keith; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, August 28, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, August 29, 2025, 8:00 a.m. until time of prayers 9:00 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Funeral Services 10:00 a.m. at Grace Gospel Center, 4N220 Rte. IL-83, Bensenville. Interment Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
