Sandra Anne Mabley, 67, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025. She was born on January 28, 1958 in Lexington to the late Doris Goodpaster and Earl Mabley. Mrs. Mabley worked as a LPN for University of Kentucky hospital.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her sisters, Deborah Lane, Sherry Matherly; brother, Darrell (Janet) Mabley; very good friend, Margie Rigney; her special nieces who partook in her caretaking, Ginger Bailey, and Lisa (Tommy) Jourdan; as well as a host of many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; along with many cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Marlene Mabley, and Nancy Litteral.

To honor her life, a celebration of life service is planned for Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 2pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, followed by a gathering of family and friends until 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lexington Humane Society.

Sandy was a great friend. She played the piano at my wedding. I hadn´t seen her for many years but we did keep in touch on Facebook. Rest in peace old friend.

What special friends we were starting in 1st grade through high school and beyond! We unfortunately lost contact many years ago but thankfully my memories will last a lifetime . Rest in peace my sweet friend. Deepest condolences to her family and friends.
