Sandra Lee (Edder) McCune, 83, of New Alexandria, passed away Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, in Concordia at Bethlen Ligonier Gardens. She was born Aug. 5, 1942, in Salina. She was the daughter of the late Roy Glenn Jr. and Janet Marie (Jones) Edder. Prior to retirement, she was a pie baker at the Corner Restaurant. She was a member of the Old Salem Church, Derry Township. Besides her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Innis McCune III, in 2002; one son, Dusty Glen McCune; and two brothers, John and Roger Edder. Sandra is survived by two sons, James McCune and Shawn McCune and wife Sheri of Derry; one daughter, Melissa McCune and fiance John Yuris of Blairsville; one brother, Robert Edder and wife Mildred of OH; one sister, Becky Wininger and husband Rick of AL; one sister-in-law, Linda Edder of Philadelphia; six grandchildren, James, Shawn, Shane, and Amanda McCune, John Himler and wife Marissa, and Jessica Rhodes and husband Robert; six great-grandchildren, Lane and Easton Himler, Denton and Peyton Rhodes, and Shane and George McCune; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation for Sandra will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, in P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, in the funeral home with the Rev. Ron Durika officiating. Interment will be in the New Alexandria Union Cemetery.
