Sandra J. McMillian was born September 10, 1952 to the late James Edward Webb Sr. and Cathryne Polly (Bonds) Webb. After a lengthy illness she departed this life on Monday July 15, 2024at her home in Warren County. Sandra acknowledged Christ as her personal Savior at an early age in Scottsville, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Allen County High School, also a member of the band playing tuba.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Mr. Ronnie Whitney of Bowling Green, Kentucky. They shared over 53 years of life together. From this loving union three children were born. Angela, Kristen, and Ronnie also Bruce (Sharice) Kathy. Including 25 grand children and 31 great-grand-children.
She is survived by one brother James E. Webb of Franklin, Kentucky. Proceeded in death by her brother Renardo Hite and one sister, Schiteka Hite. Also survived by a host of relatives from Allen, Warren County and Louisville, Kentucky.
Sandra, worked as a teacher at The Peanut House Preschool and the Warren County head start program, where she met and worked with her best friend of over 50 years. Ms. Barbara Ann Covington. They enjoyed celebrating their Birthdays together which was 3 days a part, each year they enjoyed celebrating with a different theme and colors.
Special Thank You to "Sister" Mary Jackson. Her loving sister-in-law and one of her closest friends. Mary became her caretaker and provided love and compassion until her departure. Mom was crazy about her "sister".
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hanging out on the front porch, laughing and reminiscing about the good old days. She was a natural comedian, with many funny stories to tell. Most of them all she would gleam with pride. Telling others how blessed she was and how many grand and great-grand-children she has.
Mom is and always will be a special woman. She will forever be in our hearts.
