Sandra L. Miller

Sandra L. (Brody) Zavatsky Miller, 80, of Latrobe, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, at Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing at Latrobe.

Born February 7, 1946, in Latrobe, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edna (Sherer) Brody.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edward C. Miller; five children, Joseph Zavatsky, Jacqueline Miller Jogun (Wayne Marshall), Richard Zavatsky, Edward C. Miller Jr (Lydia), and John Zavatsky; 12 grandchildren, Addison, Derrick, Shane, Zachary, Emily, Alexa, Ava, Noah, Emma, Ella, Kaitlyn and Callan, and several great grandchildren.

Sandra worked at Kennametal in their Accounting Department and then West Penn Power where she retired after 31 years of service as a meter reader.

Sandra was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. A charter member of the Tony Angelo Fraternal Order of Eagles 01188 Ladies Auxiliary, she served as a Trustee since the institution of the Auxiliary and was the chairperson of the bingo luncheon committee. In 2022, she was inducted into the Pennsylvania State Auxiliary Hall of Fame for the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She was also a member of St. Joe's Social Club.

Sandra especially enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's activities. She also liked to cook for family holidays and events at the Eagles, take beach vacations and Caribbean cruises, play cards with friends, garden, go to the casino, and play bingo.

The family would like to thank Grane Hospice Care for the care, compassion, and kindness that they provided during Sandra's final weeks.

Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe. Members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 01188 Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 6:30 PM Tuesday in the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Holy Family Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. E. George Saletrik as celebrant. Private interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
