Sandra Moore

Sandra "Sandy" L. Moore, age 81, of Cochranton, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 10, 2024. She was born on September 26, 1942 in Kittanning, PA to the late Anthony and Lena Marrapode. She married Robert E. Moore Jr. on September 14, 1961. He preceded her in death April 19, 2017.
Sandy was a proud graduate of beauty school. She retired from Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community after 28 years as a hairdresser.
Sandy was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Cochranton. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch admiring her beautiful flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid Steelers fan.
Sandy is survived by two daughters, Cyndi Poduszlo of Cochranton,PA and Michele(Mike) Mitchell of Saegertown,PA; two sons, Rob (Brandy) Moore of Cochranton, PA and Randal Moore of Cochranton, PA; eight grandchildren, Michael Mitchell(Maddie), Justin Mitchell, Jeremy Mitchell, Andrea Poduszlo(Justin), Jason Poduszlo (Nikki), Brandon Moore(Kate), Kyle Moore (Keara)and Skylar Moore; eight great-grandchildren, Torin, Londynn, Melody, Layha, Rylee, Sophia, Conner and Kholden; one brother, Anthony "Tomp" Marrapode of Kittanning, PA and one sister-in-law, Dot Picardi of Kittanning, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, David James Moore; a son-in-law, Tom Poduszlo; one sister, Mary Picardi and two brothers, Pete Picardi and Galen Marrapode.
As per Sandy's request, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
