Sandra Morrison Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt Cremations & Funeral Services on Mar. 11, 2026.
Sandra Lee Morrison, affectionately known as Sandy to her friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, in Walla Walla, Washington. Born on May 4, 1949, in Colfax, Washington, Sandy's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and service, woven through the years from her youth to her final days.

Sandy was a proud graduate of Asotin High School's Class of 1968 and furthered her education at Walla Walla Community College, where she completed her studies in 1969. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when she established Sandy's Cleaning and Catering business in the 1980s, a venture that not only thrived but also became a beloved part of the community she cherished.

Beyond her professional achievements, Sandy's interests painted the picture of a life lived with zest and joy. She had a passion for gardening, nurturing the plants that would bloom under her attentive care. Traveling was another of Sandy's pleasures, seeking new experiences and the warmth of the sun in distant locales. An avid golfer, she spent many a day on the greens, perfecting her swing and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. Above all, Sandy's greatest delight was in spending time with her friends and family, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Sandy's legacy of love and kindness is carried on by her devoted family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Stephens and Arnold Kimble, and her beloved husband, Greg Morrison. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her sons, Shane McKillip and his wife Sonya, Michael McKillip and his wife Shoan, and her adored grandchildren, Connor, Cooper, Damian, Jacob, Takota and Teagan. Her sisters, Sally Shaner and Tauna Fairchild, along with nieces and nephews will remember Sandy's generous spirit and the bond of sisterhood that they shared.

Those who knew Sandy would describe her as the epitome of loving, generous, and kind. Her warm presence and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched. Sandy's life was a testament to the beauty of giving, the strength of an open heart, and the enduring power of a kind spirit.

As we say farewell to Sandra Lee Morrison, we celebrate a life that exemplified the very best of what it means to be human. Her smile, her generosity, and her unwavering kindness will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will continue to inspire and comfort all who were fortunate enough to know her. Sandy's journey through life was one of purpose, joy, and an unrelenting commitment to the ones she loved. Her story is not one of sorrow, but a beautiful narrative of a life well-lived and a legacy that will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her family and friends.
