Sandra L. Murano

Sandra L. (Tatro) Murano, 75, a resident of Tyngsboro, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on Thursday, August 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Murano.

She was born in Pelham, NH, on January 30, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Herman and Dorothy (Ignacio) Tatro.

Sandra was raised in Pelham, NH, and was a graduate of Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH. She raised her four children in Lowell. When her children were teens, Sandra loved to take the family to the mountains. She enjoyed taking rides there for most of her life.

Sandra is survived by her children Melissa Collins and her fiancé Michael Monahan, Michael Collins, Jr. and fiancée Angelica McInerney, all of Tyngsboro, Tanya Ricard and her husband Paul of Salem, NH, and Chris Collins of Lowell; her grandchildren Christina Monahan, Kara Lee Lambert and her husband Dan, Alicia Collins, Julia Collins, and Michelle Collins, and Paul, Jr. and Sarah Ricard; and her great-grandchildren Andrea Goterch-Monahan and Jack Lambert. Sandra's sisters are both from NC, Karen Tatro and Denise Dionne. She also leaves her closest friends Donna Hamel and Maryellen Garneau as well as her Godson Paul Garneau.

She was predeceased by her brothers and sister Butch, John and Donna Tatro; and her former husband Michael Collins, Sr.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 4 pm -7 pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
