Sandy Kay Morrow-Nay, loving mother and grandmother, age 66, died peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by her children after battling stage 4 colon cancer, on September 19, 2025 in Cedar City, Utah. She was born on July 28, 1959 in San Diego, California to Evelyn Margarette Patterson Morrow and James Mitchell Morrow.

She was raised on a beautiful farm in Axtel, Utah. She grew up to marry her best friend Kerry Nay and discovered later that they were better friends than partners in life. She was awfully proud of her work in life, from creating a daycare business and working hard to buy her forever home to raising 5 children. Her grandkids were always spoiled like crazy and she was never tired of being around them and giving them all the love they deserved. She loved living her life and loved the people important in her life.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Evelyn, as well as her sister Kathryn Pendleton. She is survived by her brother, Richard; sisters Patty, Donna, and Jeanne; her children Jessie, Joshua, Julia, Jaclyn, and Justin; daughter-in-law Sarah; and 5 grandchildren, Hailey, Ashton, Dartanion, Evelyn, and Helena. She will be missed by many other family and friends.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and health professionals who cared for Sandy over the past several months of her life. We also appreciate those who gave their time and resources.
